public interface AssertableWebApplicationContext
extends ApplicationContextAssertProvider<org.springframework.web.context.ConfigurableWebApplicationContext>, org.springframework.web.context.ConfigurableWebApplicationContext

A WebApplicationContext that additionally supports AssertJ style assertions. Can be used to decorate an existing servlet web application context or an application context that failed to start.
