Method Detail

executeTask

long executeTask(String taskName,
                 Map<String,String> taskDeploymentProperties,
                 List<String> commandLineArgs)

Execute a task with the provided task name and optional runtime properties.

Parameters:

taskName - Name of the task. Must not be null or empty.

taskDeploymentProperties - Optional deployment properties. Must not be null.

commandLineArgs - Optional runtime commandline arguments

Returns:

the taskExecutionId for the executed task.

cleanupExecution

void cleanupExecution(long id)

Cleanup the resources that resulted from running the task with the given execution id.

Parameters:

id - the execution id

saveTaskDefinition

void saveTaskDefinition(String name,
                        String dsl)

Saves the task definition. If it is a Composed Task then the task definitions required for a ComposedTaskRunner task are also created.

Parameters:

name - The name of the task.

dsl - The dsl that comprises the task.

deleteTaskDefinition

void deleteTaskDefinition(String name)

Destroy the task definition. If it is a Composed Task then the task definitions required for a ComposedTaskRunner task are also destroyed.

Parameters:

name - The name of the task.

isComposedDefinition

boolean isComposedDefinition(String dsl)

Determines if the DSL is a composed DSL definition.

Parameters:

dsl - the Task DSL to evaluate

Returns:

true if it is composed task definition else false.
