java.lang.Objectorg.springframework.web.context.support.ServletContextFactoryBean
Simple FactoryBean that exposes the ServletContext for bean references. Can be used as alternative to implementing ServletContextAware, allowing to pass in the ServletContext to a constructor argument or any custom bean property.
Note that there's a special FactoryBean for exposing a specific ServletContext attribute, named ServletContextAttributeFactoryBean. So if all you need from the ServletContext is access to a specific attribute, ServletContextAttributeFactoryBean allows you to expose a constructor argument or bean property of the attribute type, which is a preferable to a dependency on the full ServletContext.

public void setServletContext(ServletContext servletContext)
ServletContextAwareInvoked after population of normal bean properties but before an init callback like InitializingBean's afterPropertiesSet or a custom init-method. Invoked after ApplicationContextAware's setApplicationContext.
setServletContext in interface ServletContextAwareservletContext - ServletContext object to be used by this objectpublic Object getObject()
FactoryBeanIf this method returns null, the factory will consider the FactoryBean as not fully initialized and throw a corresponding FactoryBeanNotInitializedException.
getObject in interface FactoryBeanFactoryBeanNotInitializedExceptionpublic Class getObjectType()
FactoryBeanFor a singleton, this should try to avoid singleton creation as far as possible; it should rather estimate the type in advance. For prototypes, returning a meaningful type here is advisable too.
This method can be called before this FactoryBean has been fully initialized. It must not rely on state created during initialization; of course, it can still use such state if available.
NOTE: Autowiring will simply ignore FactoryBeans that return null here. Therefore it is highly recommended to implement this method properly, using the current state of the FactoryBean.
getObjectType in interface FactoryBeanListableBeanFactory.getBeansOfType(java.lang.Class)public boolean isSingleton()
FactoryBeanThe singleton status of the FactoryBean itself will generally be provided by the owning BeanFactory; usually, it has to be defined as singleton there.
